Our four-year Bachelor in Optometry (B.Optom) degree is a competitive and intensive full-time programme, approved by Alagappa University which has been designed to give students the academic and clinical knowledge with the latest infrastructure and best faculties available and they are rigorously trained to maintain the standard and high demands for the society.

• 1. B.Sc Optometry – 4 Years (This course contains 3 years of academic training and 1 year of internship (which is mandatory)).
  
  First Year- Two Semesters; Six Months each
  Second Year- Two Semesters; Six Months each
  Third Year- Two Semesters; Six Months each
  Fourth Year- The final year is set aside for internship. Students familiarize themselves with the various hospital and workup procedures as part of the curriculum.
  Eligibility : +2 Pass.

• 2. B.Sc Optometry – Lateral Entry 3 Years (Direct Second Year)

Eligibility : Diploma in Optometry or Diploma in this same field from any Recognized University

• 3. Diploma in Ophthalmic Techniques – 2 Years

Eligibility : +2 Pass.
